Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson had a 'life-changing day' when he visited veterans at the Walter Reed Military Hospital on Wednesday.
The 51-year-old wrestler/actor — who recently flew one of his superfans to WrestleMania — took to his Instagram to share an emotional video in which he thanked soldiers for their service at the nation's largest military medical center, located in Bethesda, Maryland.
The clip showcased the star warmly greeting wounded service members and sick children, offering hugs to several of them and snapping selfies together.
In a particularly touching moment, a young boy lightened the mood by joking that his medical treatment had given him the same haircut as the famous movie star: a clean shave.
'A life changing day of spending time with our soldiers at WALTER REED MILITARY HOSPITAL,' Dwayne captioned the post. 'Looking our soldiers (and kids) - men and women - in the eyes and spending time with them as they battle thru their injuries and challenges - has a way of reminding us all what life is all about.'

He continued: 'And how fortunate we are to live in freedom. Because of them. Thank you for your service.
'I will always support and fight for you and always have your backs- as you always have ours. An unforgettable day. Love you back. STAY STRONG.'
Formerly called the National Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed has offered medical care for veterans and several US presidents since its opening in 1940.
Dwayne has become a familiar face at the facility, having made numerous visits over the years, with his most recent one being in November of last year.
Around the time, he also met with Senate representatives to discuss military recruitment.
However, his appearance stoked further buzz about a possible White House bid.
Johnson revealed in 2023 on Trevor Noah's What Now podcast that he has been inundated with requests to run for office.
'At the end of the year . . . in 2022 I got a visit from the parties, asking me if I was going to run and if I could run,' Johnson said. 'It was a big deal. And it came out of the blue. And it was one after the other.'

On Jimmy Fallon's show, he shared that the prospect had been floated for several years.
'This run-for-president talk has kind of been in the ether for the past couple of years, and it never stops being surreal,' he said.
He also referenced a poll which found, 'almost 50 percent of Americans would support me running for president,' he added. 'It was just crazy.'
However, he suggested he would not want to take a position that would impinge on his time with his three daughters: Simone, 22, Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6.
